Lydford Summer Fayre, postponed due to the bad weather, will now take place on Saturday, August 18 at Lydford Sports Field. The fun starts at noon and continues throughout the afternoon wth a ram roast and various stalls including cakes and plants. Lydford amateur artists will be exhibiting their talents. A family dog show starts at 2pm by permission of Wingletang, and there will be pasties, teas, coffees and a licensed bar selling real ales and fine wines. Competitions and games will include a hat competition, where anything goes. There is free parking and a modest entry fee.
