THE Devon Sensory Bus, a specially equipped bus that offers free, confidential service to those with hearing or visual impairment has released its 2013 timetable for the second half of the year.

The service provides trained staff who understand the effects of hearing and sight loss, and can offer support and advice, as well as demonstrate the use of a range of equipment to help with everyday difficulties such as hearing the doorbell or telephone, or reading newspapers and books.

As in the first half of the year, the bus will visit Chagford and Moretonhampstead on the third Tuesday of each month, and North Tawton and Okehampton on the third Thursday of each month.

The time table for July is as follows:

July 16 - Chagford Town Square, 10.30am to 1.30pm; July 16 - Moretonhampstead Court Street car park, 2pm to 3pm; July 18 - North Tawton Town Hall, 10.30am to noon; July 18 - Okehampton Fairplace Church 12.30pm to 3pm.
