THE?children of Lydford Primary School entertained audiences this week with their Christmas production 'Nativity Nightmares'.

The play told the story of a school's preparation for the Christmas play, including all the disasters, successes and the nightmares teachers have to go through to get the play to the stage.

The production was based on a modern theme with surgeons as the wise men and 'Blues Brothers' angels. The children also dressed up as various members of staff at the school, including teachers, supporting staff and caretakers.

The production was very comical ensuring lots of 'laugh out loud' moments for the audience.

Instead of selling tickets for the productions this week, the school asked for donations to raise money for school funds.
