TWO Tavistock Musical Theatre Company members impressed judges at the Plymouth Music Festival recently.

Tim Farmer and Pete Clement took home three cups between them at the festival's competition. Tim won the comedy class and Pete won a cup for singing Songs from the Shows, and the Gilbert and Sullivan Cup.

Pete, company chairman, said: 'I managed to get 90 marks out of 100 for both categories. I am delighted that we can keep the Gilbert and Sullivan Cup within the Gilbert and Sullivan Fellowship.'

Tim and Pete will both be appearing in Tavistock Musical Theatre Company's A Christmas Cracker — a one-night concert of carols, songs and good humour.

It takes place at the Wharf, Tavistock, on December 15. Tickets, £9.50, are available from the box office on 01822 611166.
