THE Plymouth Jazz Club comes to Morwellham Quay tomorrow with a line-up to please all musical tastes.

For the fourth year the Jazz Picnic takes place on the quaysides by the River Tamar from 6pm.

The event also marks the start of the Tavistock Foreward?s Music Events which run until August 22 and marks the bi-centenary of the start of the building of the Tavistock Canal which linked Tavistock to Morwellham Quay.

Music is being provided by Mike Cox?s Superior Jazz Band, Harry S Fulcher Sextet, Tony Harris Quartet with Karen Taylor and Mike Denham on the piano. Incidental entertainment is being provided by Afterglow ? which present close harmony in a jazzy style.

So bring your picnics, candelabra, chairs, rugs and cushions ? and revel in a British summer evening of jazz. The picnic starts at 6pm ? under cover if wet!? and there will be bars of real ale, and light refreshments in the Ship Inn and The Bakery.
