A motorist was taken to hospital after being freed from a van following a road traffic collision near Folly Gate last Friday. The acident involving an articulated lorry and a van occurred on the A386, one mile south of Folly Gate at around 11.30am. Two fire appliances from Okehampton attended and used power rescue tools to free the passenger.
