TAVISTOCK Ring and Ride is looking for drivers for occasional special trips and to provide cover for the two full-time drivers. The drivers will be required to drive the minibus, and after an initial assessment to see if they are able to do so, funding is available to take the necessary Devon County Council test. Payment would be made for coverage of periods of illness or holidays, but special trips would be on a voluntary bases. The area covered by the service extends from Lifton and Lewdown to Princetown, Yelverton and Bere Ferrers. Anyone who is interested in learning more should contact Lorraine on 01822 618028.
