THE manager of an Okehampton mobile phone shop has been rewarded for his hard work and dedication with a new car.
Mike Howard, of JAG Communication?s Okehampton branch, is the latest of the company?s top managers to be rewarded with a brand new Peugeot 206, which is instantly recognisable with its red colour and JAG logos across the bonnet and sides.
The cars are awarded for mangers of JAG stores who have consistently produced excellent results and met performance targets regularly throughout the year.
?The JAG car is a lot cheaper to run than my car, and so I was able to sell it ? a brand new car and cash, great!? said Mike.
Marketing and PR manager, Kieran Neale said: ?Mike and his staff have worked incredibly hard to be successful, and it is really nice to be able to recognise their commitment; and to let them know that people do notice?.
Mr Neale said Mike was the fourth manager to receive a JAG car, and like most of the previous winners was from a smaller rural store rather than a large town or city store. ?It goes to show how much effort these smaller stores put in to receive rewards like the car over busier branches,? he said.
Lucky Mike also scooped another top motoring prize in a separate promotion, where JAG gave away more than £3,000 in prizes and vouchers to staff.
He won one of the top prizes in the competition, a driving day offering the chance to get behind the wheel of super cars including a Lamborghini Diablo and a Dodge Viper.
