TAVISTOCK Christian Fellowship held a special lunch at Kingdon House on last Sunday, to bid a sad farewell to missionaries Ian and Hilary Lloyd, who are sailing from Plymouth to Santander this week, en route for Africa. On arrival at Santander they plan to drive through Spain, take a ferry to North Africa and move to various venues in easy stages as God leads them. Ian and Hilary are not supported by any large organization, and as on previous occasions will move out into their mission work by faith. During the nine months they have been in Tavistock they have become well known at various venues, performing casual work in order to be self supporting and undertaking voluntary work at such places as the Anchorage Centre.
