TAVISTOCK Library celebrated it's tenth anniversary at its premises at The Quay, Plymouth Road, last Saturday.

The library friends group organised a coffee morning to mark the date, complete with birthday cupcakes supplied by Tavistock company Lush Buns.

During the morning there was also family fun provided by Chloe the Clown who entertained young and old with her balloon modelling.

Also present during the day was author Patricia Fawcett, who lives in Devon.

Tonight (Thursday) the celebrations continue at the library, as author Ruth Saberton visits the library to talk about her career. The doors are open at 7pm and free tickets for the event are available from the library.

Coming soon are storytellers Clive Pig and David Oliver, who will be telling tales in Tavistock Parish Rooms on Saturday, August 6, at 1.30pm to 2.30pm and from 3pm to 4pm.

Tickets for this event are available from the library.
