THE talented ?Men of Morchard? will be entertaining residents of Sticklepath later this month, and raising funds for the village hall improvement fund in the process. Based in Morchard Bishop, the group of male singers perform a repertoire, including both serious and far from serious songs, many with a Devonshire flavour. The Men of Morchard are members of the renowned Crediton Operatic and Drama Society too. The group also has a resident comedian, who keeps audiences laughing while the singers decide on their next song. The troupe also includes a magician who adds a spot of conjuring to proceedings. The evening takes place in the village hall on Friday, March 24, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 with all proceeds going towards the Sticklepath Village Hall Improvement Fund.
