PRINCETOWN History Club meetings take place each month, when visitors and new members are always welcome.

The meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month, starting at 7.30 pm during winter at the new village centre, and at 7 pm during summer at various outdoor venues.

Membership is £5 per year, which is collected at the December social meeting, usually held in either the Plume of Feathers or Prince of Wales pub. At this meeting there is a quiz and buffet meal.

There are a wide variety of speakers at the meetings, who bring with them either slides or film to support the topics of the evening.

Some of the 2009 topics have included 'moorland Plym' with Mike Perriam, 'clapper bridges' with John Stuart, 'visit to Wilsworthy Ranges' with Lt Col Tony Clark, 'visit to Upper Tinworks of Newleycombe Valley' with Dr Tom Greeves and 'discovering sett makers' bankers with Simon Dell.

Yearly programmes are on display at The High Dartmoor Centre, The Old Wesleyan Chapel and Princetown Library.
