The second PUMA Championships were held recently in Torbay Leisure Centre — a team from Tavistock Tae Kwon-Do again took part and swept the board with some fantastic results.
Callum Rouse and Toby Mayne achieved bronze medals in junior yellow belt patterns.
Toby Mayne later went on to gain a silver medal in junior sparring.
Daniel Hilton won gold in boys' blue belt sparring. Iain Johnson achieved silver in men's red belt lightweight sparring.

Merwyn Davis achieved silver in the ladies' red belt heavyweight division and Toby Eves won silver in black belt men's lightweight sparring.
With a total of nine medals Tavistock Tae Kwon-Do certainly put the town on the map.
Tae Kwon-Do sessions take place at Tavistock Community College on Mondays from 7pm to 8pm for juniors and 8pm to 9pm for adults, and all ages on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm.
