McGahey and White continued to up the run rate with White scoring a quick 19. McGahey was caught for 51 and with wickets in hand Phil Stephens hit a quick fire 42 to give Tavistock an excellent total of 184.

A confident Plymstock got off to a steady start until Downham bowled both openers with 39 on the board. Williams and Hocken soon followed and Brailey was brilliantly caugaaht by Phil Stephens at extra cover and Plymstock were 51 for 5.

Wickets continued to fall but Ian Walley (88) continued to pile on the runs and with three overs to go Plymstock only needed 25 to win, but James McGahey's next two overs were maidens and Mills only went for three, leaving Plymstock on 162 for 9.
