WEST Devon mayor Robin Pike presents a cheque for funds raised in aid of the Green Ribbon Fund to Edward Bourne, of the Devon Community Foundation.
The cheque, for £368.55, was presented at the mayor's dinner held at the Moorland Links Hotel on Friday and attended by more than 100 people.
Principal speaker was Anthony Gibson, regional director of the NFU, and also speaking was Lt Col A J M Drake, the High Sheriff of Devon. Guests included West Devon and Torridge MP John Burnett and Mrs Billie Burnett. Cllr Pike was accompanied by the mayoress, Mrs Diana Pike, and their daughters, Katherine and Stephanie.
