OKEHAMPTON mayor and mayoress Tony and Sue Leech will be abseiling over Castle Drogo to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. The ?Drogo Dangle? takes place on Sunday August 21, and Tony and Sue are encouraging everyone to take part. Cancer Research UK has been chosen as one of the mayor and mayoress? charities to support during 2005, as many friends of the couple have had cancer. Sue says: ?If the money we raise can help to save just one life, then this is very worthwhile. I am very scared of heights so this will be a double challenge for me.? Sue knows the abseil venue well as she also works at Castle Drogo, so is looking forward to taking the plunge and joining others to raise vital funds and awareness of the work of Cancer Research UK.
