MARY Tavy entertained a good sporting side who, although without their first choice keeper, battled hard.

After taking an early lead, the home side seemed to lose concentration and Pensilva took advantage by scoring two quick goals. Mary Tavy, however, resettled and were soon in control, taking some good chances to go in 7-2 up.

The second half was not quite as lively with the home wide already having done the hard work three further goals were well taken to finish the rout 10-2.
