AFTER the long lay-off due to bad weather it was back to business for

Mary Tavy with a convincing win to start the year on a positive note.

With Dominic Reeves back, the home team fielded a strong team who broke the deadlock in the first minute. However, as on so many occassions this season they failed to take opportunities to increase their lead.

It was left to Simon Dundrow-Smith with an excellent one-handed save to ensure the score remained 1-0 until the break.

The second half was a more one-sided affair with Grylls adding his second and a brace from Reeves, Neil Piper grabbing the other.

Hopefully, Mary Tavy will be inspired by this performance and start making a climb up the league table.
