EXBOURNE celebrated the anniversary of the Queen's coronation last weekend with the unveiling of an artwork which took many hours of dedication to complete.
The Exbourne, Sampford Courtenay and Jacobstowe WI has been hard at work creating a stitched wall hanging of some of the three villages' notable buildings, including Exbourne Primary, the three churches, pubs and village halls.
Members' houses were also included in the wall hanging.
The group created the hanging to celebrate the Queen's 60 years on the throne.
It was unveiled at a special ceremony on Sunday by Jayne Egan of Broomford Manor. Guests representing village organisations, businesses and groups were in attendance, including Julie Ayre and Linda Carew from the Devon Federation of the WI.
