FRIENDS of Tavistock Area Support Services (The Anchorage Centre) recently combined with eleven other local charities when holding their annual Charity Bonanza at Tavistock Town Hall. All monies raised on the day went to local good causes.
We would like to thank all those who did support the event on the day, and also our very many friends who donated raffle prizes and gave so much of their time on, and prior to, the day.
A list of raffle prizes, donors and winners will be displayed at The Anchorage Centre (next to the bus station)..
Many enquiries were made on the day about volunteering for TASS, which as an organisation looks after transport, social and welfare needs for the elderly in Tavistock and the local villages. Information can be obtained by ringing us on 01822 616958 or by popping in to the centre.

A VERY belated thank you to everyone who gave to our street collection on July 23. We made £458.86.
It was a lovely sunny day so maybe that was why people were so generous!
