SOUTH West Lakes Trust staff got together at Roadford Lake to carry out bank-side management of willow, gorse and bramble.

The team building day was attended by area managers, finance, conservation and watersports employees.

If left unmanaged the banks become overgrown with scrub so along with being a fun 'away from the office' day for many staff it will also benefit the many members of the public who use the site by retaining views of the lake from the footpaths and recreational areas.

The enthusiastic staff cleared a large area just below the 'Cob shelter' opposite Lakeside.
