PLANNING for Lifton Fete is well underway.

The event, on the Recreation Ground in Leat Road on Saturday, June 15 form 2pm to 5pm, includes a bouncy castle, games and stalls, sports for the children and the popular tug of war competition.

Northlew Silver Band will be playing and afternoon teas will be served, plus a barbecue and bar. Raffle tickets will be on sale from May 11 and the draw will take place at the fete at 4pm.

In the evening it will be party time at Lifton Hall Hotel with a disco/dance.

Tickets for this will be available from Team Lifton or Lifton Hall Hotel. Reasonably priced refreshments and a barbecue will be available which can be paid for on the night.

On Sunday, June 16 from midday there will be a novelty dog show. Cream teas will be served. The venue is Lifton Hall Hotel car park.
