Wartime letters inspire Okehampton writer's novelIn a series of groundbreaking meetings throughout the river catchment area, the public will be asked what the river means to them and what they would like to see happen to it in the future.
The meetings have been set up by the Devon Wildlife Trust in order to draw out issues that affect the river and are a great opportunity for everybody who feels passionately about it and its landscape to get involved.
People are encouraged to bring along photographs, drawings, paintings, stories or mementoes to the event at Princetown Primary School at 6.15pm on Thursday, July 8, to help express their feelings.
