AN East Cornwall firefighter was presented with a medal in recognition of the time he has spent with the fire service. Watch manager Aylward Hewitson joined Cornwall County Fire Brigade on November 15 1993. Having completed 20 years of long at loyal service at Callington Community Fire Station, he has been awarded the Fire Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
