THE Lions of Tavistock held its recent charter dinner on St David's Day and raised £350. Proceeds were donated to the recently formed Tavistock and Yelverton Fundraising Group for Marie Curie Cancer Care — the emblem of which is the daffodil, the national flower of Wales.
