ST LUKE?S Hospice will be holding its annual ?Light up a Life? service at St Eustachius Church in Tavistock on Wednesday, December 1, at 5pm.
The service is open to everyone who would like to join in remembering a loved one. As part of the service the congregation will light candles as an act of remembrance.
Last year, St Luke?s Light up a Life appeal raised £42,000 to help fund the important care the hospice provides in the local community.
Louise Impey, communications manager at the hospice, said many people found this a positive way of remembering a loved one, knowing their light was bringing comfort and pleasure to the patients the hospice had over the Christmas period.
