THE latest fundraising event for the Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Community Park and Play area is being held on Saturday, October 17.

Bec Applebee presents 'Oh Mary', a physical theatre show based on the amazing life story of Mary Bryant a Cornish highway woman, who was transported to an Australian penal colony.

The performance begins at 8pm at the Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Hall. Tickets can be obtained from Harrowbarrow Post Office, or 01579 350138. Tickets cost £6 for adults, £4 for children, concessions £5, and family — two adults and up to three children — £15.
