THE Lambs are still looking for their first victory of the season after one late goal apiece ensured a drawn game.

They welcomed back Darren Halfyard from the midweek defeat by Falmouth and added Will Westlake from Bere Alston, Mark Keith and Steve Treble from Callington to the squad.

Chances were few in the first half with Duncan Duthie?s free kick deflected for a corner.

Nick Dowling for the visitors completely miskicked in front of goal and was guilty again just prior to the interval.

The second half saw more chances for each side with Craig Hodge, moved up front, glancing a Halfyard cross wide of the mark on 50 minutes.

A minute later Tom Hutley was set up in front of goal but missed the target for the visitors. But when they finally found the target they found Andy Meeds in his usual fine form as he kept the score blank diving at his post to deny James Cudmore. Duthie was again unlucky as his jinking run into the area saw his effort deflected for a corner.

Meeds saved again this time from Josh Insley before the Lambs took the lead on 83 minutes.

Substitute Tom Barwell?s through ball put Westlake in on goal for him to go wide of keeper Mark Gears and slot home despite defenders? attempts to get to the ball.

Any thoughts of the Lambs? first win of the season were quickly dissolved as the Bridgers replied straight from the restart. The ball was moved into the penalty area from the kick off and it appeared to hit a divot to deceive Meeds and allow sub Darren Halpin to get a touch to it to roll just over the line.

Westlake had a chance to put the Lambs ahead two minutes later but this time Gears blocked his shot and he could not direct the rebound goalwards.

Finally Meeds saved from Grills right at the end to deny the visitors all three points and a draw in the end was a fair result for both sides.

Team Andy Meeds, Darren Halfyard, Duncan Duthie, Mark Keith (sub Kevin McShane 65m), Craig Hodge, Pete Southcott, Alan Yendall (Capt), James Steer, Steve Treble (sub Tom Barwell 46m), Will Westlake, Daniel Fadida ( sub Adrian Payne 65),
