Any would be queens who think they are up to the task should hand their entries in to Krafty Cards in Red Lion Yard or JC Books in the Arcade by noon on Friday, May 16. All entries should include names, ages, addresses and contact numbers with applicants being aged 12 by the time the carnival comes around. This is also the last chance four young couples aged between 4 and 11 to enter the 2008 prince and princess competition. The carnival committee have two floats which can be used by the royalty, if required and will also offer advice regarding decoration should it be needed. Parents should also be aware that attendance at some of the other carnivals in the region will be expected. This year's carnival will take place on Saturday, October 18.
