THE Lambs unbeaten run continued with this fourth consecutive victory. They tore at the visitors defence for the first fifteen minutes.
Nathan Blamey's strong tackle in defence in the first minute allowed him to send Simon Parnell away only for him to be brought down just outside the area and soon after Steve Daymond set up Chris Gott who saw his fierce shot brilliantly saved by keeper Dave Philp.
Lee Beer went close and Darren Babb saw his header from a James Cole corner cleared for another. Bodmin survived those early pressures but then Lambs turned the screw after a five minute break to force three more corners in succession.
Babb saw another header cleared off the line but from the second the defender scored when Craig Hodge met Blamey's kick to head powerfully towards goal, Philp could only parry it out and there was Babb to add the finishing touch.
From the kick off the Lambs forced their third and Parnell saw Philp bring off another save to keep his side in the game.
They thought they had gone two up five minutes later but Gott was ruled off side as he clipped the ball over Philp from a Beer cross.
Bodmin came back into the game after the half hour forcing the Lambs to concede four free kicks but it was a defensive mistake that allowed them their first real attempt on Andy Meeds goal but Darren Roose shot wide after Phil Hardie had set him up.
Philp was again in action saving from Daymond on fifty minutes and two minutes later the Lambs had a great chance to go two up.
Cole's cross field pass completely split the visitors defence to put Beer in the clear on goal but the young wing back shot wide when well placed.
A minute later he became provider and this time it was John Hajiyanni to strike in a similar fashion. Luke Hodge sent a header over the bar before sub Jaimie Carwardine sent Daymond away for Philp to again deny the Lambs a second goal.
It could have and should have been a far more emphatic victory but the Lambs defence were rarely troubled and fully deserved the three points.
