Feniton 1 Tavistock Ladies 2 STILL struggling to field a full team, Tavistock Ladies went to Feniton with only nine players. But they pulled together and dominated the first half with excellent football from Candy Capeling, Louise Galway and Laura Phillip keeping the defence tight. In the 28th minute Tavistock?s hard work paid off when Robynne Honey took on the Feniton defence and shot past the keeper. In the second half Tavistock came out just as strong and Julie O?Keefe and Melanie Bland battled for every ball, sending Kirsty Jones, Kate Atkinson and Honey on constant attack. A slip in defence let Feniton in to equalise in the 70th minute, but Tavistock did not give up ? a well executed shot from Mel Bland put them ahead again in the 77th minute.
