YELVERTON Ladies Club Championships took place recently, when 36 holes were played on one day.

 The Underhill Scratch Cup was won by Gilly Jarvis with the best gross score over 36 holes. Gilly has now beaten the  club record set by the late Bunty Salz— Gilly has now won it for 12 years in succession.

The Underhill Handicap Cup was won by Bente Bergan for the best net score over 36 holes.

The best net winner in the morning was Mair Preston-Jones with a net 74.

The best net winner in the afternoon was young junior Caitlin Evans-Brand with a net 77.

It was  12 year old Caitlin's  first attempt in an all ladies competition. Well done to her.
