THE final game of the season for the girls saw them two players down on the squad. This meant the remaining seven would have to play a full game each without substitutions and keep their fingers crossed there would be no injuries.

Kim Davie scored seven goals to bring her in with a chance of top scorer in the league, Chloe Bassett had a well deserved hat-trick and hard working Clarice Payne rounded off her best season with two goals.

The defenders each played out of their skins.

Sarah Barrett took some time to wake up, when she did the opposition found it hard to get past her.

Amy Campbell had the hardest task, having to mark and tackle the opposition?s largest player, and Megan Blackmore in a midfield role was outstanding, tackling well and setting up two of the goals.

Robynne Honey had little to do in goal and by the end of the game was running forward at will.
