THE adrenalin will be racing tomorrow (Friday), as a 70-year-old woman will jump out of an aeroplane at 10,000 ft in the air.

Linda Elliot (pictured left) is braving a tandem parachute jump over Dunkeswell Airfield in Honiton, to raise funds for Tavistock Museum.

Linda, fundraiser for the museum and part of the management team, wants to raise as much money as possible, so that the museum can purchase new exhibition cases.

Linda said: 'Most people think I'm mad for doing this, but I'm quite excited even though I'll be strapped to a stranger and putting all my trust into someone I've never met.

'We're always looking for ways to raise money in order to bring the museum up to date, but at the moment we are in desperate need of new exhibition cases.'

Anyone who would like to support Linda in her fundraising challenge can donate money to Tavistock Museum in Court Gate, opposite the Tourist Information Centre, which is open everyday from 11am to 3pm.
