Wartime letters inspire Okehampton writer's novelThe walk, of five miles maximum, has one steep hill and some muddy gateways. It takes place on Sunday, March 27 and returns at 3pm from reception.
Participants will have the opportunity to join David Bouch, the head gardener who will be leading a 'Daffy Walk' of one hour at 1.30pm and the cost is £5 including refreshments.
Strong shoes or boots are recommended and the walk is unsuitable for dogs. Non members of the society are asked for a donation of £2.
