JOHN and Rosalind Pugh from Sampford Spiney brought their two gorgeous year-old alpacas Jeremy and Sam to the show, along with a selection of clothes they sell made from beautiful, soft, alpaca fibre.

The alpacas proved quite a success at the show with their distinctive features and splendid coat catching the eye.

The Pughs have been breeding alpacas for ten years now  and following the successful birth of four babies this summer, now have a herd of 51.

They have the alpaca fibre spun in either Banbury or Launceston, it is woven in Bovey Tracey – and 'knitted all over the place', said Rosalind.
