JASON Archer produced the best score of the day last Sunday, in very wet conditions, to win the Waverley TBS medal at Hurdwick Golf Club. He led division one with a net 67, followed by Roger Downing with 68 and Harry Bee in third with 69. Club captain Chris Tear won division two with 72, Paul Mace was second with 74 followed by John Burrough with 78. The Ladies? medal winner was Sally Arscott with 74. The only two of the day came from Tony Pearson who won the sweep. The Derek Blackmore midweek Stableford was won by Tony Wood with 39 points on yet another extremely wet day. Neil Tamblin was second on countback from Kevin Pugh, both with 35 points.
