BUCKLAND Monachorum Drama Group are busily rehearsing for their spring production if the thriller 'Driven to Murder', by Olive Chase and Stanley Clayton, which they will perform in Buckland Monachorum Village Hall on April 14, 15 and 16 at 7.30pm.

The play involves drugs, blackmail and murder. The plot concerns Dr Helen Ferryman who has happily remarried after her first husband was reported dead in a road accident in France. When her daughter's boyfriend receives a blackmailing phone call followed by anonymous photographs, all the clues seem to lead to a mysterious stranger who has recently moved into the neighbourhood.

When the stranger is then found dead, it appears certain people know more than they are prepared to admit . . .

Buckland Monachorum Drama Group put on two productions a year and this is set to be another cracking production which should not be missed.
