Looe 1 Tavistock Town U14s 4 THIS was a great team effort from Tavistock with every player giving his all against a good Looe side and battling a very strong wind. With the wind at their backs Tavistock totally dominated the first half, pressing forward at every opportunity. Another good effort from Jamie Doyle opened the scoring, followed by two well taken goals from Nick Cribbett. The Tavistock lads knew they had to work hard in the second half against the wind. They responded with a great defensive display, restricting Looe to long range efforts which man of the match keeper Ollie Macrae dealt with easily. Every player had a part in the victory,with a good performance from James McGahey, starting off in midfield and then playing the lone striker role; sub Elliot Long continued the good work up front and the scoreline was completed by Tom Sherrell?s good run and finish.
