MILK Link's Taw Valley Creamery is celebrating after an outstanding performance at this year's Nantwich International Cheese Show – the 'world cup' of cheese shows.
It collected the Castle Coombe International Award for best cheese for export and the Cheese Lovers' Choice Trophy, both for its Tickler-brand cheddar.
Competing against a record field of 3,950 cheeses from 28 countries, the creamery also collected 18 other awards, including six gold, five silver, and seven bronze medals.
Overall, Milk Link's creameries collected a total of six trophies and 48 individual medals, including an impressive 18 golds.
Commenting on the win, Neil Kennedy, chief executive of Milk Link, said: 'Nantwich marks the pinnacle of a great show season for Milk Link. Our awards are truly a testament to the skill and talent of our dedicated cheese makers.
