ZEAL have now lost three times in succession to East Budleigh by three goals to two and as in the previous two games the defeat was not deserved.
The visitors opened the scoring, against the run of play, when a mix-up in the Zeal defence allowed a striker to score easily from close range.
Zeal equalised 15 minutes later when Harley Cann played in Nick Pollard who finished well into the far corner. Zeal were now controlling the game but just before half time another defensive mix-up by Zeal allowed the visitors to go in at half time two one up.
Zeal had most of the play in the second half but it took them 25 minutes to equalise when Steve Pillivant robbed the Budleigh right back and crossed for Harley Cann to finish with a great header that gave the visiting keeper no chance.
Just as it looked as if Zeal would now go on and win the game Budleigh broke again and beat Adam Cann at his right hand post to give the visitors all three points.
Next match: away to Pinhoe, ko 3pm.
