Is it a sign of the times?

FOLLOWING recent correspondence regarding Devon County Council?s campaign to cut motorcycle fatalities on the A386, I remain unconvinced that the erection of signs will make a jot of difference to road-users? behaviour (of either cars or bikes). However, is anyone else surprised about the council?s lack of common-sense in positioning a new sign by Westbridge Cottages in Plymouth Road, totally obscured by a telegraph pole? No, I thought not! If ever there was cause for an accident, this is surely it.
