An inquest has been opened into the death of a West Devon cyclist on a rural lane.

David Warburton, of Broadwoodwidger, was found on the side of the road next to his bike on a road between Broadwoodwidger and Rexon Cross on August 11.

The security specialist died at the scene from multiple injuries, an Exeter inquest was told today. The hearing was adjourned until a later date.
