SIX hotels in West Devon are among the latest winners in the RAC?s annual awards. Properties ranging from grand country houses to idyllic village cottages were singled out for special recognition after anonymous visits by expert RAC Hotel Inspectors. The RAC Gold Ribbon award recognises the finest standards in comfort, cuisine, customer care and service, the Blue Ribbon acknowledges a level of true excellence in those same areas that will ensure guests experience first class standards. The White Ribbon recognises high standards coupled with a recognisable level of commitment, enthusiasm and warmth of service. The highest accolade for hotels is the Little Gem award, presented to properties that offer superb standards and create a real home from home atmosphere for their guests.
