Mount House U11s v Tavistock U11s

MOUNT House U11s batted first against Tavistock U11s and were soon in trouble against the bowling of Jamie Stephens (3 for 17), Jonty Newton (2 for 28) and Josh Stephens (3 for 18).

At 36 for 6 Mount House were indebted to a partnership between Robert Pryde (16) and Ed O?Neill (15) which nearly doubled the score.

Some fine strokes by Arthur Fulford (17) took the score to a respectable 100 for 9 declared.

Tavistock were soon in trouble against the accurate bowling of Xan Winteron (3 for 8) and Ed O?Neill. Only some dogged batting by George Rodgers (13), playing his first match, enabled Tavistock to reach 53 before being all out.
