THE Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is holding its annual conference at Buckland Abbey on Wednesday, November 8. The team will discuss their achievements and milestones over the past 12 months. This year?s theme is ?Our Heritage on the World Stage?, linking the newly inscribed World Heritage Site for Cornwall and West Devon Mining with the £6-million Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project. Tamar Valley AONB manager Tim Selman said: ?Over the past 12 months we have been involved with some very exciting, yet challenging areas of work. ?We are grateful to a number of organisations who have helped us achieve the amount we have.
