If you are having to isolate and need support in the Calstock parish, Calstock Parish Council wants you to get in touch.

‘We are keen for the parish council to support our community as best it can,’ said parish clerk Sue Lemon. ‘Because of the nature of the geographical spread of the parish it would seem appropriate to keep this to a localised i.e. ward/village level.

‘If you are having to isolate and need support please leave us a message with your name, address and contact number and permission to share your details with an appropriately placed volunteer.

‘We will be asking some of our ward members to check in on people (using phone and or email where necessary). Equally if you can help please let us know so that we can pass on your details. We may need people to pick up and deliver goods (prescriptions/basic groceries) or it may be that you are a great organiser and would take on the co-ordination of support required in your immediate area.

‘At this stage we won’t know exactly what will be needed and the levels of support required. We would also urge you to follow the guidelines set out by the Government https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.

‘We are following government guidelines and working from home so please use the following contacts: Call: 01822 748847 leave a message and we will contact you as soon as possible. Email: [email protected] Go on our website for the latest information www.calstockparishcouncil.gov.uk.’
