Have you a book for the bumper sale?

TAVISTOCK Area Support Services will be holding its third annual 'Bumper Book Sale' next month and is appealing for local residents to help make it a success.

The sale is one of the charity's major fundraising events of the year and in order to continue the success of the past two years TASS is asking the public to donate some of their books.

Anyone with books to donate is asked to bring them to the Anchorage Centre, next to Tavistock Bus Station, or, if you have a large amount, call TASS and a volunteer can arrange a pick up.

Andy Lyle, TASS's general manager, said: 'This year we are in special need of good-quality, soft-backed novels. Please support your local Tavistock charity and allow them to continue helping the elderly of the area.'

The 'Bumper Book Sale' is being held on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.
