Enjoy stunning autumn colours in a guided walk around Fernworthy Reservoir near Chagford on Friday, 27 October in the company of South West Lakes Trust countryside warden Kit Hancock.
Kit will lead the group through meadows, woodland and moorland offering fantastic views of the water, local wildlife and Bronze Age hut circles. On a good day, you will also be able to see the autumnal leaves reflected in still water which creates a stunning effect.
Visitors are invited to ask Kit about the legend of the Fernworthy Earth Gnomes.
The walk starts at 10.30am and is expected to take two hours. It is free to attend but donations will be gratefully received.
To book your place visit the trust’s website www.swlakestrust.org.uk/events
Attendees require appropriate footwear and waterproofs.
