THE latest list of gardening courses run by Proper Job of Chagford is now available. Coppicing, composting, hurdle making, tool sharpening and the growing and use of herbs are just some of the topics to be covered during the Spring.
Courses for childlren include making masks, making rush mats and gardening. Classes are held at weekends and cost from £7.50 to £18 for adults and £4 for children.
Booking is recommended as numbers are limited so that people can have personal attention. Proper Job coordinator Jo Hodges said: 'We are very pleased at the response that we have had to our training courses. Proper Job wants to help people to learn skills so that they can successfully grow their own food and plants. After the sessions people say that they have both learnt a lot and enjoyed themselves.'
